Archive for the ‘The Relief Shop – TRS’ Category

The Relief Shop Medical Supplies now has a NEW category on MRSA, staph infections and pressure ulcers, also known as bed sores.

Their information resources on MRSA and staph infections are from the experienced Microbiologist and alternative health researcher Michelle Moore. She answers such questions as “What is staph infection, what is mrsa, how do you get these infections, what are the symptoms, and what do you do about them”. She also tells how NOT to get staph and MRSA.

Pressure ulcers and bed sores have been shown to be healed and prevented with a new cream called CleaDerma DCB. The Relief Shop shows a video of a doctor’s testimonial. It is a little graphic as it shows the before and after images of a large, long-term ulcer and how to apply the cream. The main thing to observe is the healing process that has occurred.

The Relief Shop Medical Supplies infection support products offer comprehensive, broad-range support and treatment for challenging staph infections, MRSA infections, and pressure ulcers.

The Human Body from a Single Cell

From a Single Cell

It’s hard to believe a human being starts as a single cell. The cell is fertilized and is then called a zygote, which divides and develops into groups of cells. The average adult body contains about 75 trillion cells.

Cells group together to form either nerve, connective, epithelial or muscle tissue. Tissues that work together form organs and organs that work together form organ systems such as the nervous or digestive system.

The human body works by itself; the heart beats automatically, you breathe automatically, digestion occurs without you knowing how.

Yes, it is hard to believe a human being started from 1 cell!

This great story was relayed to us by a good customer:

“This is a comical story about a Rollator (a rolling walker with hand brakes and a seat).  My Dad fell and broke his hip at age ninety-three.  After healing, therapy, and etc., he could walk with a regular walker, but because he had no more cartilage in his knees due to so many years of osteo-arthritis, and he was too stubborn to get a knee replacement, walking was pretty slow and painful.  He decided he could move along a lot faster and smoother if he had a Rollator.

Before The Relief Shop was available, we went to a more expensive hospital supply store and they had one Rollator in the store which was actually their sample.  When he saw it, he tried it out, and made the statement “This thing really goes!” I tried to explain that it was the store sample and wasn’t for sale, but the store could order him one.  His comment was, “I won’t leave this store unless this Rollator goes with me,” and he sat down on it and wouldn’t budge! How do you convince a ninety-three year old, very opinionated man that he couldn’t have what he wanted?

After a while a solution was found — he could take the rollator home and use it until the new one came in.

My Dad was very happy and we left with the Rollator in tow.  When we got back to the Senior Center where he lived, he moved faster, held his head higher and was “king of the hill” with his new Rollator.”

A tale that just has to be told because the team at The Relief Shop and the team at Carex has done a very good deed.

A customer who owns a Carex rollator, a rolling walker with hand brakes and a seat, called The Relief Shop because her rollator needed new back wheels. Since we carried the rollator she currently had, she called to see if we could get the new wheels she needed.

Our Relief Shop staff called the manufacturer and located the needed wheels. The good news was; the manufacturer would supply and deliver the wheels for FREE since the rollator was still in warranty.  The customer was called and the good cheer spread.

However; when our staff called the manufacturer back with needed info., several people there thought the wheels were probably NOT going to work. What -to do, what-to-do?

The Relief Shop Team reminded Carex of two important points:

  1. The rollator was still in warranty.
  2. At the moment, the customer was very happy.

So, what did Carex do?  They delivered a BRAND NEW Rollator to the customer at NO CHARGE what so ever!

Upon talking to the customer after the rollator was delivered, she was elated and very grateful.  A little good will from The Relief Shop and Carex had gone a long way, indeed.

So, shop The Relief Shop for all your home medical supply needs and let’s see what we can do for you.

We carry medical supplies, disability aids, incontinence products, mobility aids like wheelchairs, rollators, walking sticks and canes, joint and arthritis pain relief products, light therapy, diabetic supplies, durable home medical equipment, sleep aids, assistive devices, independent living aids, massage products, pain relief products and so much more.
